Our Beef
Our beef is humanely raised on Lesser Farms' without any added hormones, fillers or preservatives. They are fed grain and hay grown and produced at Lesser Farms. We do not purchase outside feed for our animals, which means we know exactly what goes into our animals. They are then taken to Hillsdale County Meats, a USDA facility in Waldon, MI. We deliver and pick up all meat ourselves to ensure proper handling and care. Cuts are individually vacuum sealed and frozen for freshness and convenience.

We do not offer U-Pick. When visiting the property, please do not wander the farm, fields, orchard, or garden (no loitering), and do not enter the farmhouse. Pets MUST remain in vehicles for safety (not allowed in the sales room). Please do not pet animals on the Farm. Bees may be present. Thank you!
Apple Cider
Seasonal | Our cider is un-pasteurized, hand-pressed by Lesser Farms’ family members, and has been achieved the same way since the beginning. Our cider is one simple ingredient: apples from our family-owned and operated orchard. You may notice the taste of your cider change week-by-week as the combination of apples we use during each press differ as certain varieties become available.
Apples
Seasonal | Lesser Farms offers a variety of different kinds of pre-picked apples for sale on our farm. We do NOT offer u-pick. These include: McIntosh, Gala, Cortland, Honeycrisp, Empire, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Jonathan, Jona-Mac, Granny Smith, Mutsu, Northern Spy, and many more. We are also proud to supply the University of Michigan with our fresh, local produce.
Plums
Seasonal | We offer Stanley (smaller) and Empress (larger) plums. Empress plums are typically ready first (usually early September) and are followed by Stanley later in the season.
Pears
Seasonal | If the season is good, and we don’t lose them due to frost, we offer Bartlett and Bosc Pears. We have a very limited supply (if any) and it’s best to call in to check stock.
Honey
With over 200 colonies of bees at Lesser Farms, beekeeper Dale Lesser works daily on caring and nurturing the bees that produce every jar of our honey, pound of wax and block of honeycomb. It is 100% pure and there are never any additives.
Eggs
Cage-free and antibiotic-free. Our chickens have the ability to move freely and socialize with each other. Eggs are available on a first-come-first-served basis while supplies last. The earlier you come in the day, the better. We are typically sold out before noon.
Pumpkins & Gourds
Seasonal | We offer varying sizes of pre-picked pumpkins at our farm, from small to extra large; perfect for jack-o-lanterns! We do not offer u-pick, but we do have a small patch in our yard of pre-sorted, pre-cleaned pumpkins, perfect for photo opportunities.
Squash
Seasonal | We offer a variety of squash including butternut, buttercup and acorn. All squash is on a first-come-first-served basis and is picked daily until stock runs out.
Firewood
Seasonal | Dry, Seasoned Firewood is available on a first-come-first served basis and sales typically begin in mid-october and go until we run out of stock. Please be advised that we do not offer “holds” or “partial pickups.” Available in ¼ cords, ½ cord and full cord. Please call or visit for pricing.
Peaches
Seasonal | If the season is good, and we don’t lose them due to frost, we offer Flamin’ Fury and Big George Peaches. We have a very limited supply (if any) and it’s best to call in to check stock.
